Thomas Wadden Awarded the George A. Bray Founders Award by the Obesity Society
Psychology Graduate Group member Thomas Wadden was presented with the George A. Bray Founders Award by the Obesity Society in October 2009. The award recognizes Wadden for significant contributions to the understanding and treatment of obesity.
Edna Foa awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award from ABCT
Graduate Group member Edna Foa was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies at its meeting in New York in November. Prof. Foa was recognized for her sustained contribution to research on anxiety disorders and their treatment.
Faculty Search in Clinical Psychology
THE DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY, UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA invites applications for a faculty position in child or adult clinical psychology or in developmental psychopathology, to begin July 2010. The search will focus on applicants at the associate and full professor level, but outstanding candidates at the assistant professor level will also be considered.
