Department of Psychology: Lecturer Position

The Department of Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania invites applications for a Lecturer position that will be for either one year (full-time) or one semester (part-time).  The fall semester begins September 1, 2010 and the Spring semester will begin January 1, 2011.  The Lecturer's primary duty will be to teach one or more sections of our large  semester lecture course, Psychology 1, which introduces undergraduates to all areas of Psychology.   We seek candidates with a Ph.D. in Psychology, substantial teaching experience (particularly in large lecture classes) and a strong commitment to creative, innovative instruction.  Lecturers in the School of Arts and Sciences are reappointed annually based on Department need and satisfactory performance.
