Time:
TR 10:30-12
Course Description:

Full Title:The Psychology of Spirituality, the Soul, and Magical Beliefs
In this research course, we will explore a field for which there is very little literature, but a topic of central importance to human beings.  The focus will be beliefs about "non-physical" forces at work in the world.  This is aside from organized religion.  We will explore these ideas with a concrete focus on the idea of magical contagion, the idea that some non-material essence is passed between people and objects. Dept. permission required.  Preference given to senior psychology majors.
