The study of the neural systems that underlie human perception, memory, and language, and of the pathological syndromes that result from damage to these systems. Required recitation meets T 7-8pm.
There are two recitation section options to choose from (both meet at the same time and place):
PSYC149-201 Regular recitation section.
PSYC149-202 Writing intensive recitation.
Students in the 149-202 section will develop a critical writing project focused a specific topic in the field of Cognitive Neuroscience; this project will substitute for the course final exam. Students will be guided by a writing fellow as they engage in a series of writing assignments that culminate in an in-depth synthesis of the research question. The designation "Writing Intensive" will appear on the transcript of students who successfully complete the additional requirements and receive a C or better in their final grade for the course.
Both recitations meet Tuesday from 7-8pm.
