Course Description: 

Perceptual Learning in Infancy and Early Childhood.  In this course, we will design and create original experiments on perceptual development. Topics will include categorization, phonological rule learning, word learning, and sentence understanding. Skills to be taught and practiced include experimental design, audiovisual display editing, and coding of infant and child behavior, among others.  By instructor permission.  Experience with children, and coursework in perception, cognition, or language, encouraged.
